These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Aesthetics Logbook application ("the App") provided by Tom Fisher, trading as Fisher Clinics ("we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or using the App, you agree to these Terms.
Aesthetics Logbook is a clinical case logging tool designed for aesthetic medicine professionals. It enables users to record treatment entries, set review reminders, and generate reports for the purposes of professional development, revalidation, and appraisal.
The App is not a medical device and is not intended for use in direct patient care or clinical decision-making.
You must be a qualified healthcare or aesthetic medicine professional to use the App. By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and are using the App in a professional capacity.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately at aestheticslogbook@gmail.com if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
You must provide accurate information when creating your account and keep it up to date.
You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You must not:
You are solely responsible for ensuring that any data you enter into the App complies with your professional obligations regarding patient confidentiality, including the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR), the Data Protection Act 2018, and any applicable professional regulatory guidance.
We strongly recommend that you do not enter directly identifiable patient information (such as full names, NHS numbers, or dates of birth) into the App.
The App offers a free tier and a paid Pro subscription. The free tier includes up to 30 entries with full sync and reminder functionality.
Pro subscription features include unlimited entries, custom clinic branding, and PDF and CSV report generation.
Pricing: current subscription prices are displayed within the App at the time of purchase.
Free trial: where offered, a 7-day free trial is available for new Pro subscribers. You will not be charged during the trial period. Cancellation before the trial ends will not result in a charge.
Billing: subscriptions are billed monthly or annually depending on the plan selected. Payment is processed by Stripe (web) or through your device's app store (iOS/Android).
Cancellation: you may cancel your subscription at any time through the App or through your app store account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
Refunds: refund requests are considered on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us at aestheticslogbook@gmail.com.
You retain full ownership of the logbook data you enter into the App. We do not claim any rights over your clinical case entries. You can export your data as a CSV file at any time from within the App.
The App may from time to time offer access to a CPD Library containing structured learning modules. Some modules may be sponsored by third-party companies including medical aesthetics product manufacturers and training providers ("Sponsors").
All sponsored content will be clearly labelled as such. Sponsors do not have access to your personal data or your logbook entries. The CPD Library is made available to all users equally — module availability is not based on your individual usage data or treatment history.
Completing a sponsored module may automatically generate a CPD entry in your logbook. You retain full ownership of that entry and may edit or delete it at any time.
We are not responsible for the accuracy of information contained in third-party sponsored modules. You remain responsible for verifying that any training meets your professional regulatory requirements.
We aim to keep the App available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We reserve the right to perform maintenance, updates, or modifications to the App, which may result in temporary unavailability. We will endeavour to provide advance notice of planned downtime where possible.
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free from viruses or other harmful components.
The App is a professional tool to assist with record-keeping. It does not constitute medical advice and should not be relied upon as a substitute for professional clinical judgement.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Tom Fisher, trading as Fisher Clinics, shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or professional consequences arising from reliance on App-generated records.
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the App shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from within the App. Upon deletion, your data will be permanently removed from our systems within 30 days.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, by notification within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the App shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
